The battle against Parkinsonís hits home with the Paulsens as the leader of our family, Bob Paulsen, has been battling the disease for over 20 years. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone yet there is no known cure. By attending the Paulsens Putt against Parkinsonís and supporting Team Fox, you can help change this. About Team Fox: Team Fox is The Michael J. Fox Foundations (MJFF) grassroots community fundraising program. It is made up of thousands of people worldwide who raise funds and awareness for Parkinsons Disease research. All funds raised through Team Fox go directly to MJFF to further its mission to accelerate the delivery of life-changing treatments, and ultimately a cure, to people with Parkinsons disease. Bob Paulsenís Story: We all know Robert Paulsen as the guy who lives life with a passion that you can only find in a Marine and father of 10. He loved to run marathons, play golf, pump iron at the gym, and enjoy a night of cold beers with friends. Of course, the thing that Bob loves the most is his family. He was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease over twenty years ago and upon receiving the diagnosis, nothing changed. Bob maintained his active lifestyle by continuing to run, golf, work out, and most of all, support his family. Parkinsonís is a terrible disease. It has done its best to take away the activities that Bob loves so much, however, it has not touched his desire to be the best family man he can be. He continues to be the most loving husband, father, grandfather and friend any of us could ask for. Please join Bob and his family on July 14th to play some golf, have some laughs, drink a few beers, and raise money to find a cure for Parkinsonís If you cant attend the event and would still like to help us make a difference, you can donate to our cause here: Sign up here:
